New Members!
This past week was very eventful in regards to new Clan Members!  Earlier this week Mokshayoda joined the Clan while Mr.Socko jumped on board last night.  Most everyone in the Clan knows both of these players from either fragging with them on our server or talking to then in our IRC Channel.  Both are excellent players!  Check out the Roster page for photographs!  We now stand at 15 Active Members!

Clan Forums!
Our Clan Forums are now completely functional.  Please stop by and provide some input.  Thanks to Split for taking the time to design these for the Clan.

Q4Max
Yes, as soon as our server is upgraded I will be loading Q4Max onto it.  If you need the latest release head here and download it.  I am sure there will be a bit of a struggle getting it to run properly if what I hear from other Server Admins is correct.  Please bare with me during this transition :-)

Server Transfer
The Clans web server was moved late last week.  Due to some unresolved technical glitches our hosting company recommend we move to another server.  The most significant benefit from this transfer is now the Clan has it own Forums.  Sp|it is the mastermind behind these Forums.  Thanks Man!  I can't wait to start gumming it up with all sorts of screenies :-)

Quake 4 Server
Ballistic Servers has informed me that our server will be upgraded in the near future.  I am not sure we'll see any difference in performance but if it adds stability then I am all for it.  They have been rather hush-hush about when this new install will occur but if the server is down for a day or so this is probably the reason.

New Member
Over the 4th of July weekend I was told that Stacey, a regular on the Clan's Server, was interested in joining the Clan.  His skills are top notch and I look forward to fragging with him.

Another New Member!
MUZ from central Florida joined the Clan earlier this week.  We now stand at 12 active Members.  A lot of the Clan has fragged with MUZ on our server over the last few months.  I think his skills will help round out an already great crew!  Welcome to the Clan MUZ!

Clan Web Server Problems
At the moment the Clan's Web Server is having troubles.  It's nothing that effects the way a page loads (at the moment) but I can not upload new content.  Damn slackers at iPowerWeb.

The Clan continues to grow with the addition of Sp|it.  From being a regular on the Clan server it's obvious his skills will be a great asset to us.  If you see him on the server's give him a shout!

ZTerminator in the House!
That is right folks ZTerminator has been recruited into the Clan.  We all have been railed by him so many times it's like we already know him :-)  ZmanZ28 can attest to his rail proficiency as can I :-p  ZTerminator lives in NYC and has been playing Quake based games for the last 10 years.  Welcome Man!

New Member!
Last night a new Member joined our ranks who's name is Sigel and lives in Colorado.  He will playing under the alias Death. He is an excellent shot with the rail run but the rocket launcher is his weapon of choice.  Having played both Quake I and Quake 3 I know he will make a fine addition to the Clan.  Head to the Roster page for a photograph and personal details.

New Member & Member Pictures
Head on over to the Roster page to see a few changes, most notably, the addition of two new Members! A couple of weeks ago ThePhatCrew joined the Clan to supplement our Offense.  TPC is from Kansas City, Mo.  He's a fine shot and all around great player.  Our latest new Member is Colonel Bob who comes to us from Oxford, Ms and former student at Old Miss.  I have played on severs where  Colonel Bob has locked down a flag room demonstrating great Defensive skills.  Both are worthy additions to the Clan.  Please welcome them both!

The Clan Server now only has 12 public slots.  The remaining 4 slots are password protected for Clan Members.  If you need the private password let me know!

Happy B-Day Clan [ICD]
Well, the exact date the Clan was created escapes me, but I've always thought it was sometime on the weekend during the third week of April.  Saying that, I am happy to report that Clan Iceing Death is 8 years old this week, or there about :-)  I would like to thank all those Members that helped me start this Clan and those that have joined since.  It has been a lot of fun!

New Member
We have yet another Member joining us from Georgia Tech!  Yep, he studies Physics, and there is a rumor he even has a PhD :-) He goes by the alias of Maynord so if you see him on the servers give him a shout!

Patches and More Patches!
Seems id Software has had some troubles patching Q4 as of late.  Go figure!  Honestly, I have come to expect this from them.  Good news is that the latest release appears to be stable and provides server admins and players alike quite a bit more control over the game.  If you have yet to download this patch you'll need it to play on our serer.  You can find it here.

Q4Riot
Earlier this week the Leader of Clan Q4Riot Hellspawn and myself talked about our two Clan's getting together for some informal fun.  I foresee some CTF and TDM scrimmages between us in the not to distant future.  Q4Riot has a great new web page up.  Check it out!

New and Old Members
Our latest Member comes to us from Georgia Tech.  Yep, we have a bona fide Physics major (Grad School) in our midst's. His alias is Arcticvex.  I spotted him playing on one of the Shadizar servers several weeks ago.  What caught my eye besides the fact that he's an excellent shot with the rail gun was that he had a friendly demeanor about him while playing.  Welcome aboard Arcticvex!

Late last week I received an e-mail from one of the oldest (4th) Clan Members around beside yours truly; Nothingman.  Guess all this talk about Q4 got his juices flowing so he's looking to start playing again.  Looking forward to fragging with you soon!

Another old timer (9th) has also decided to become active again.  We used to know him as Joffus De Great but now he goes by the alias ChickenWhopper :-)  Nice to have you back Joe!

Roster Section and Web Page Updates
I hope the Roster Section is up to date.  If you note any errors please let me know.  Also, I can't believe I am saying this but this web page I have been working on views best in Internet Explorer. I typically use Mozilla but for some reason it's fubar with my java script and HTML.  D'OH!

New Clan  Web Page
The Clan Iceing Death Web Page has undergone a makeover! Paul "Nothingman" Wideman, a longtime Clan Member, supplied us with a template that I've used for the last 6 years.  Honestly, I am still very fond of that layout but figured it was time for a change. Saying that, this web page layout is not my creation.  I had been wanting a page that contained some interface elements.  I found several I liked on the  Clantemplates.com web page and settled upon this one designed by Psycrotic. 

Clan [ICD] Quake 4 Server
The Clan is now hosting a public Quake 4 CTF server.  At the moment the server name is Shadizar II - City of the Wicked - Overflow. Address is 64.154.39.161:28004.  If you need RCON information please contact me directly.

ZMAN Z28
About a month ago I ran across Zman Z28 playing on several of the Q4 CTF servers I frequent. Finding a post of his on the Planet Quake 4 forums we started talking and began looking for each other online.  He is the first Q4 player I  extended official Clan Membership to. And I am glad to report that he is a great addition!

Cindy<3
Our latest Member comes to us from Puerto Rico!  Please welcome Cindy<3 to the Clan!  She claims she's a bit rusty but don't let her fool you :-)  A Quaker for the last several years I have a feeling she'll fit in nicely here at Clan Iceing Death.
